Anson also filed for divorce on September 11 last year.
"Despite best efforts to work things out or make allowances, and as difficult as it is, sometimes you have to do what's best for everyone," Anson told the outlet at the time.
A month later, he returned to court to dismiss the divorce filing.
It's unclear at this stage what led to the actor's decision to file for divorce on both occasions.

Anson and Jackie married in 1988, and they share five children together: Olivia, 17, Gabriella Rose, 17, and Stella Rayne, 12. Anson married Jackie two years after splitting from his ex-wife Lorrie Mahaffey, with whom he shares daughter Hannah Lily.
Anson was on Happy Days for the entire 10-year duration of the show. In 1983, he scored a Golden Globe win for Best Supporting Actor.
The veteran actor turned to TV directing on hit shows like Beverly Hills 90210, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Melrose Place and Lizzie McGuire.
