'The Handmaid's Tale' Season 3 trailer hints that a revolt is afoot

Hulu has released the official trailer for Season 3 of The Handmaid's Tale.

The new footage shows Offred (Elisabeth Moss) managing covert alliances with fellow handmaids and leaders of Gilead to overthrow their rulers.

We smell a revolution, and it's delicious.

Based on the novel of the same name by Margaret Atwood, the first season of The Handmaid's Tale stayed pretty true to the original story.

However, the second season departed from it drastically, and it looks as though this new season will continue to expand from that original plot.

Season 3 of The Handmaid's Tale premieres on June 5.
