Hailey Bieber opens up about health struggle in candid post

Hailey Bieber, 28, has opened up about an ongoing health struggle.

In an Instagram Story shared to her 54.5 million followers on Tuesday, April 22 (local time), Bieber got candid about suffering with ovarian cysts.

"Currently have 2 ovarian cysts," the model captioned a selfie she took, baring her belly.

"If you deal with ovarian cysts I'm right there with ya!"

According to Mayo Clinic, while most have no symptoms and self-resolve, large ovarian cysts can cause pelvic pain, fullness or pressure in your abdomen and bloating.

The model spoke out about her health condition more than two years ago.

In November 2022, Bieber revealed she had a cyst on her ovary the "size of an apple".

"I don't have endometriosis or PCOS [Polycystic ovary syndrome] but I have gotten an ovarian cyst a few times and it's never fun," she revealed on her Instagram Stories.

Posting a photo baring her stomach, the star clarified she was not pregnant at the time.

"It's painful and achey and makes me feel nauseous and bloated and crampy and emotional," she said of her condition.

"Anyways...I'm sure a lot of you can overly relate and understand. We got this."

Months earlier, the star got candid about another health condition.

In March 2022, Bieber said she was hospitalised after suffering "stroke like symptoms".

In a follow-up YouTube video, the model opened up about her hospitalisation, sharing her symptoms were from a blood clot that had travelled to her brain from her heart.

Bieber revealed she had a transient ischemic attack (TIA) and underwent a procedure.

Speaking on Vogue's The Run-Through with Vogue podcast in 2023, Bieber admitted she "struggled with a little bit of PTSD" after her mini-stroke.

Along with her work as a model, the star has her own beauty and skincare brand, Rhode.

Bieber has been married to singer Justin Bieber since 2018.

The couple welcomed their first child, son Jack Blues, in August 2024.

Bieber's latest health update comes a day after she shared photos with her son from his first Easter versus a photo of her pregnant with him on the holiday last year.

"This Easter vs. Last Easter hehe," she wrote.
