Gordon Ramsay to become grandfather as daughter announces pregnancy

Gordon Ramsay will soon be known as Grandpa Gordon, with the news that his daughter, Holly, is pregnant. 

Holly Ramsay Peaty, 26, shared the exciting news on her Instagram account, alongside a photo of herself and her husband, English Olympic swimmer and gold medallist Adam Ramsay-Peaty. The pair wed in December 2025.

In the snap, they are standing in a garden staring into each other’s eyes, with Adam cradling Holly’s pregnant belly. 

“Baby Ramsay-Peaty coming December 2026 🐣” shared the mum-to-be, “We can’t wait to meet our baby girl 🩷” 

The most excited response came from the grandpa-to-be, with Ramsay penning in a comment, “Congratulations to you both sending lots of love ... I’m going to be a very over excited Grandad especially this Christmas.”

Fans congratulated the notoriously tough chef on his new status.

“Congratulations & how fantastic that your wee boys will be playmates with their nephew/niece!” said one commenter, speaking of Ramsay and his wife Tana’s two youngest sons.

The chef and his wife share six children: Megan, 28, fraternal twins Holly and Jack, 26, Matilda or “Tilly”, 24, Oscar, seven, and Jesse, two.

“Congratulations and you’ll absolutely melt! I can’t wait to see,” said one commenter.

“Being a grandparent changes your life but no swearing,” one teased.

Tilly shared her own comment,  “Best news ever 🙌🏻❤️ xxxx ”

Many other celebrities and friends congratulated the couple, including David, Victoria, and Romeo Beckham. 

Broadcaster Dan Walker said, “Amazing news. Looking forward to meeting the new member of the family. You need to be work out a bit though Adam… guns are looking a little scrawny.” 

Fellow British athlete Ross Edgley claimed the baby would be “100% the Olympic Champ 2044 😂😍❤️🔥HUGE CONGRATULATIONS 🙌 ❤️🙌”
