Golden Globes 2019: Jim Carrey and new girlfriend Ginger Gonzaga arrive together on the red carpet

Jim Carrey just can't stop, won't showing off his new relationship.

The 56-year-old actor walked today's Golden Globes red carpet with his 34-year-old girlfriend Ginger Gonzaga, just one day after they made their official couple debut at the Showtime Golden Globes Nominees Celebration in LA.

And it appears to be a case of life imitating art for the pair as they play on-screen lovers in the hit Stan series Kidding. In the dark comedy, Carrey plays Jeff Piccirillo, a children's entertainer known as Mr Pickles whose personal life suddenly implodes causing a mix of heartbreak and hilarity to unfold.

The role had been hailed as his comeback after staying out of the spotlight for two years -- and he's even been nominated as for Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series -- Musical or Comedy. Likewise, Kidding has been nominated for Best Television Series -- Musical or Comedy.

At the Showtime Golden Globes Nominees Celebration on Saturday, Gonzaga shared some behind-the-scenes photos as she gushed about her new boyfriend's nomination.

"Most partial to this talented nominee," she captioned a photo of the pair at the event.

Gonzaga previously starred in the 2017 Showtime series I'm Dying Up Here, which Carrey produced.
