George Clooney woke up in bed with Cindy Crawford after tequila session

Cindy Crawford's husband Rande Gerbe has spilled on that one time his wife woke up next to Hollywood heartthrob George Clooney… as you do.

The story goes that George, a friend of the couple, had "crashed out" in their guest bedroom after a night of heavy tequila drinking, Rande told the London Evening Standard's Deluxe magazine

Enter a half-asleep Cindy, who mistakenly thought the Oscar-winning actor was just her husband, "passed out on the bed with motorcycle boots still on". Riiiiiight.

"She got into bed and started rubbing my back," Rande said. "And then I turned round, only it wasn't me. It was George.

"Cindy shrieks: 'Oh my God!' Then George shrieks: 'Oh my God, did I get into bed with you?"'

The entrepreneur, who was one of George's best men at his wedding to Amal Alamuddin last year, took it in good stride and laughed about the "hysterical" incident. 

George even wrote a script based on it, which was used in an ad for their tequila brand Casamigos.
