Game of Thrones star Tom Hopper reveals the Season 8 fan theory he's certain is true

Tom Hopper joined Game of Thrones as Dickon Tarly in Season 7 and became an instant fan favourite before his untimely death by dragon fire.

"Being on the Game of Thrones set blew everything else I've done out of the water," he tells TheFIX ahead of his appearance at Oz Comic-Con. "When you shoot a lot of these things, you always say, 'Oh, when they put in the CGI it will look amazing.' Well, with this, it already looked amazing."

And in between bonding with co-star Nikolaj Costar-Waldau ("We both enjoy working out and doing gnarly stuff in the gym."), Tom found time to be a little bit shocked by Season 7's most-buzzed about moment: Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen's incestuous sex scene.

"I thought it was going to happen, but it was a bit like, oh, blimey, they actually went there again!" he laughs.

And there's one possible series ending he's found himself heavily invested in: "I'm sucked into the theory that Sam Tarly will be the narrator of the whole thing. I like it."

Up next, the married father of two will play a love interest for Amy Schumer in the upcoming rom-com I Feel Pretty.

"Amy's great. She's so much fun and bonkers," he tells TheFIX. "She throws a ton of curveballs at you while you're shooting, and the more we worked together, the more we got to play. She doesn't have an off switch."
