He did WHAT?! Russell Crowe claims Michael Jackson prank called him for years

This might be the strangest thing you read all day, so brace yourselves.

Russell Crowe told The Guardian that he was prank called for more than two years by the King of Pop himself. That's right, the late Michael Jackson used to ring up the Oscar winner just for laughs.

"Two or three f---ing years," Russell, 50, said. "I never met him, never shook his hand, but he found out the name I stayed in hotels under, so it didn't matter where I was. He'd ring up [and] do this kind of thing, like you did when you were 10, you know."

So what exactly did Michael say when Russell answered.

"'Is Mr Wall there? Is Mrs Wall there? Are there any Walls there? Then what's holding the roof up? Ha ha,'" Russell revealed. "You're supposed to grow out of doing that, right?"

Hey, we're just happy that with all the drama in his personal life, Michael still had a sense of humour.
