Sophie Monk pashed a random guy she thought was pro surfer Kelly Slater

Sophie Monk's first encounter with her life-long crush took a rather embarrassing turn.

The guy was professional surfer Kelly Slater, 43, and after meeting him at a photo shoot, she ended up hanging out with him.

At the time, our heroine, in her own words, "just had one boyfriend out of high school," and she was about to get schooled in the dangers of pashing recklessly. Sophie, 35, told the humiliating story on her KIIS 1065 radio show Summer Fling.

Unfortunately for her, when she went to kiss Kelly, her lips landed on someone else entirely. Watch the video above to find out how she went from having drinks with the surfing stud to making out with another guy and thinking it was him.
