Kim Kardashian reveals she pursued Kanye West: 'I was like, what am I waiting for?'

We've got to hand it to Kim Kardashian, the woman knows what she wants…and when she knew she wanted Kanye West, she went right after him.

In a new interview with Access Hollywood, Kim, 34, explains how she launched her plan of attack six months after her failed marriage to Kris Humphries. So, there was no cross over then? Hmm...

"I think it was six months after I was newly single in like 2012," she recalls. "I was like, why not? Like, what am I waiting for?'"

Kim and Kanye had actually met several years earlier when they worked on a project together. Although both were in relationships at the time, Kim says "there was definitely a spark".

He would go on to date Amber Rose, and she would go on to wed Kris….but her marriage lasted only 72 days, clearing the way for Kimye.

We love that Kim took the lead but not because it's such a modern-woman move. If she hadn't, we might not have adorable little North West to gush over.
