Sofia Vergara's ex sues her for their embryos and accuses star of physical abuse
Sofia Vergera's ex files just got very messy.
According to In Touch, her ex-boyfriend Nick Loeb has filed suit seeking custody of the two embryos they created through IVF before splitting last year.
And that's just the beginning. Nick's suit also makes the shocking claim that the 42-year-old Modern Family star physically abused him while they were together.
"She punched him in the face on two occasions, kicked him, and threw her phone at his head," the court papers read. "She also routinely bullied him, calling him a 'loser', 'worthless' and other degrading names."
Though it's unclear what the alleged abuse has to do with the embryos, Nick wants to prevent Sofia from destroying them now that she's engaged to Magic Mike hunk Joe Manganiello, 38. They had twice tried to conceive using a surrogate but were unsuccessful.
This latest twist comes several months after it was reported that Sofia and Joe are planning to become parents via surrogate using eggs she had frozen in 2013. If Nick has his way, she could end up passing on her DNA earlier than expected.
