Adele helps a woman propose to her boyfriend onstage in Belfast: 'You have to say a proper yes, bruv!'

Adele's music has obviously launched many a marriage proposal. But at her leap day show in Belfast, the superstar herself stepped in to give marital bliss a boost.

When she asked if any of the ladies in the crowd wanted to make a leap-year proposal, a woman revealed that she'd already asked her boyfriend to marry her. His response: "Maybe in a little while."

That wasn't good enough for Adele, who proceeded to do her part for love and women who aren't afraid to make the first move. 'You have to say a proper yes, bruv!' she chided from the stage.

The woman Haley Consuegra, 34, had been together with her boyfriend Neil Pringle, 47, for 10 years before taking her proposal public.

She'd asked him to marry her just before the concert, so the question was fresh in her mind when Adele said "Hello".
