Tom Hiddleston says he's 'happy' to be with Taylor Swift – just don't mistake him for this star!

Tom Hiddleston's biggest pet peeve: getting mistaken for an Oscar nominee.

"I don't mind it when people ask me for my autograph, but I hate it when people ask me for Michael Fassbender’s autograph," the Brit, 35, said in a clip on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. "I'm not him, ok, I'm Tom Hiddleston."

It's easy to see where the confusion comes from. Both Tom and Michael are tall, dashing, and currently filming blockbusters (Thor: Ragnarok and Alien, respectively) in Australia.

"I am practically Australian at this point!" 39-year-old Michael (who's actually German-Irish) recently joked.

But while Michael is notoriously private about his relationship with Jason Bourne's Alicia Vikander, Tom has no problem confirming his new romance with Taylor Swift.

When directly asked by The Hollywood Reporter if his globe-trotting relationship with Taylor, 26, is just for show, The Night Manager star shattered all Hiddleswift conspiracy theories.

"Well, um. How best to put this?" he said. "That notion is — look, the truth is that Taylor Swift and I are together, and we're very happy. Thanks for asking. That's the truth. It's not a publicity stunt."

The lovebirds are currently staying on The Gold Coast while Tom films the third Thor.
