Fargo actor Steve Reevis dead at 55
Steve Reevis, an actor best known for playing Shep Proudfoot in the Academy Award-winning film Fargo, has died at age 55.
Reevis passed away on Thursday at a hospital in Montana.
He also starred in the films Last of the Dogmen, Dances With Wolves, Geronimo and The Longest Yard, as well as TV shows Walker, Texas Ranger, JAG and Bones.

He was a member of northwestern Montana’s Blackfeet Tribe and leaves behind his wife, Macile Reeves, who he married in 1984, and their four children, sons Joseph, Kyiyo, Pikuni and daughter Taywanee, as well as his three grandchildren Lloyd, Cashus and Uriah.
A GoFundMe site set up by friends of the family to raise money for funeral expenses described Reeves as "friendly and down to earth".
It reads: "He often shared a good joke and funny stories about his acting adventures. He was known for his infectious laugh and good Blackfeet humour."
As of Monday morning, the campaign had reached its goal of raising $6,700 AUD.
