Aussie actress Emily Browning's husband Eddie O'Keefe confirms their wedding with sweet photos

Australian actress Emily Browning's marriage to film writer and director Eddie O'Keefe has finally been confirmed, with her new husband sharing photos of their April nuptials in four separate Instagram posts.

"Wedding Dump 1", he labelled the first round of photos, the first image of which shows the happy couple sharing a wedding kiss.

Browning, 34, is dressed in a pink gown with simple white veil. O'Keefe, meanwhile, is dressed in a stylish burgundy suit. The pair are standing in an outdoor area adorned with flowers and overlooking a waterway.

Photos of the couple posing with their parents are also included, as well as candid snaps from their wedding reception.

In one particularly sweet pic, Browning is laying back against her husband's chest as they listen to the speeches.

The second photo dump shows the bride after a wardrobe change, a glittering mini dress.

The third group of photo includes pictures taken as the couple with family and friends before, during and after the ceremony.

A final Instagram post shows Browning and O'Keefe kissing as a marriage celebrant smilingly watches on, family and friends throwing colourful confetti.

Browning and O'Keefe first met while filming the movie Shangri La Suite, sharing their first photo together on Instagram in 2016.

In late 2021 fans noticed Browning wearing what appeared to be an engagement ring.

Browning grew up in Melbourne and began acting locally before landing a breakout role in A Series of Unfortunate Events. Her career quickly took off, with roles in Pompeii and Legend.

In 2014, the year she met her future husband, Browning starred in both Pompeii and filmed Shangri-La Suite. This movie follows two young lovers who escape from a mental hospital in 1974 and set out on a road trip to Los Angeles to fulfill the boy's dream of killing Elvis Presley. The movie was released in 2015.

Most recently, Browning replaced Anna Paquin in the drama Monica and will also star in Lance Edmands' thriller Brightwater.
