Elsa Pataky, 40, shares stunning makeup-free selfie, is a total goddess

Elsa Pataky is proving it only gets better with age.

The 40-year-old actress - who we're used to seeing in full glamour mode on the red carpet - reminded the world of her natural beauty on Thursday, when she went makeup-free in a photo posted to her Instagram story.

The pic showed the mother-of-three - who is married to Chris Hemsworth - looking as radiant as ever, as she beamed at the camera while holidaying in Spain.

Elsa, who speaks five languages by the way (Spanish being her first), captioned the pic, "Piel de bebe" which translates to skin of a baby in English. You know, just in case you missed her age-defying beauty. 

It looks like the Madrid-born actress is having some well-deserved time off, after what's been a whirlwind few months following her appearance in The Fate and the Furious, as well as being announced as the ambassador for L'Oreal Botanicals hair range.

She also recently fronted the cover of the Spanish edition of ELLE magazine, where she posed topless for the cover story. "I feel very comfortable with my body," she told the publication.  

And we would, too!

Earlier this month Elsa gave a rare glimpse into her home life in Byron Bay with husband Chris, 33, and their three children, daughter India Rose, 4, and twin sons Sasha and Tristan, 3, while appearing on TODAY.

The family permanently relocated to the New South Wales coastal town in 2015.

"I wanted my kids to grow up in nature … and they're totally wild and crazy, but I love it. I grew up with horses and that was my dream [for them]," Elsa told hosts Sylvia Jeffreys and Karl Stefanovic.

Elsa and Chris began dating in 2015 and married later that year.
