A new trailer for Ellen DeGeneres' upcoming Netflix special has just dropped – and it seems the comedian is set to address the toxic workplace allegations of her talk show.

In an official trailer, DeGeneres, 66, tells a crowd during a standup show that she "got kicked out of show business" and speaks about the ending of her show.

"Well, let me catch you up on what's been going on with me since you saw me last," she begins in the clip.

"I decided to take up gardening. I got chickens. Let me see what else I can tell you about what's been going on... Oh yeah, I got kicked out of show business," she said to laughs from the crowd.

"'The Be Kind Girl wasn't kind.' That was the headline. Here's the problem: I'm a comedian who got a talk show, and I ended the show every day by saying, 'Be kind to one another'.

"Had I ended my show by saying, 'Go f--k yourselves,' people would have been pleasantly surprised to find out I'm kind."

"If I've done anything in the past 19 years, I hope I've inspired you to be yourself. Your true, authentic self. And if someone is brave enough to tell you who they are, be brave enough to support them, even if you don't understand," she said in her closing speech.

DeGeneres was forced to previously address toxic workplace allegations on her show.
