Courteney Cox, Ed Sheeran and Elton John pay tribute to Lisa Kudrow with Tony Danza rendition

Courteney Cox isn't done collaborating with her longtime pal Ed Sheeran.

The Friends star also recruited Elton John and Brandi Carlile for an Instagram video tribute to her co-star Lisa Kudrow. Watch above!

The group performed John's hit track 'Tiny Dancer' and replaced the lyrics to 'Tony Danza', in reference to Kudrow's character's hilarious mistake about the song in Friends.

"Lisa Kudrow, this one's for you," Sheeran said before the A-listers launched into the song. Cox displayed some impressive piano skills during the short performance.

In a Season 3 episode of Friends, Kudrow's character Phoebe says the most romantic song of all time is "the one that Elton John wrote for that guy on Who's the Boss? 'Hold me close, young Tony Danza.'"

Danza himself couldn't help but reply to the hilarious moment writing, "First 'the routine', now this. You've made my day once again! I'm honoured! @courteneycoxofficial @edsheerandouble @eltonjohn @lisakudrow."

Kudrow also replied to the tribute with her own Instagram clip. "OK, Ed Sheeran, Courteney Cox, Brandi Carlile and Elton John, that was the most thrilling thing ever. It was so good," she said, noting that the group has missed out on the word 'young'.

She added, "Technically it's 'Hold me close, Young Tony Danza,' but what you did was great too. And, including the original song that you wrote, Sir Elton, that was really good too."

The 'Shape of You' singer recently joined Cox to treat fans to a recreation of the brother/sister dance routine from Friends. "Just some routine dancing with a friend…" Cox wrote on Instagram.

The pair performed the dance choreography in the Season 6 episode 'The One with the Routine.'

In the episode, Monica (Cox) and Ross (Schwimmer) performed their dance routine from high school to get on TV for Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve.

Cox and Sheeran have been longtime friends as the singer introduced her to her current boyfriend Johnny McDaid in 2013.
