Demi Moore recalls having a seizure after taking synthetic marijuana at a party in 2012
Demi Moore has spoken about a near-death experience where she consumed a drug cocktail of synthetic marijuana and nitruous oxide at a party in 2012.
Moore — whose memoir Inside Out was released on Tuesday — revealed to Diane Sawyer in an interview for Good Morning America that she had a seizure in front of one of her daughters.
The 56-year-old's drug use led to her entire body "flailing" in a terrifying ordeal at the event.
"Everyone else was seeing my body flailing, my daughter terrified that she was gonna see me die right in front of her," Moore said.

"Within me, I was in a place that was thinking, 'Wow, how did I get here. Isn't this interesting?' And then the next thought was, 'I wonder if I can get out?'" Moore said.
The actress explained how the incident was a "turning point" in her life, where she felt like emotionally she was on the brink of death.
"All of a sudden I was back in my body. I was being given a choice," Moore recalled.
"Something had to give. When you come up to those places you either go in or go out."

The Ghost actress had recently split from her ex-husband Ashton Kutcher, and they finalised their divorce a year later.
Moore immediately sought treatment after the incident, as her children and ex-husband Bruce Willis chose to distance themselves from her.
Once she got her life together, the family reconnected with her and now have a text thread called "the house of Moore and Willis."

The actress also makes allegations about her relationship with fellow actor Kutcher, 41, and claims he pressured her to have threesomes and tried to justify cheating on her.
He has since spoken out on Twitter about her claims.
"I was about to push the button on a really snarky tweet," his first tweet read.
"Then I saw my son, daughter, and wife and I deleted it," the actor added, with a heart emoji.
"For truth text me. +1 (319) 519-0576," Kutcher concluded, although he gave no context to the "truth" he intended to share with his 18 million followers.
