Demi Moore reveals advice she gave her children after Bruce Willis' dementia diagnosis
Demi Moore has opened up on how she's been supporting her children since their dad Bruce Willis' dementia diagnosis.
Appearing on Good Morning America, Moore, 61, shared an update on her ex-husband, who has been living with frontotemporal dementia (FTD).
"I think given the givens, he's doing very well," the actress said.

Moore explained how she's approached the situation with the former couple's three children – daughters Tallulah Belle, 29, Scout LaRue Willis, 32, and Rumer Glenn Willis, 35.
"What I'll share is what I say to my children, which is, it's important to just meet them where they're at and not hold on to what isn't, but what is," she said.
"Because there's great beauty and sweetness and loving and joy out of that."

Moore and Willis were married from 1987 until 2000 but have maintained a warm relationship since.

Their daughters have also spoken openly about their dad's health condition on social media.
Recently, Tallulah shared a few snaps of her dad to Instagram with a heartfelt caption.
"Damn, these photos are hitting tonight You're my whole damn heart and I'm so proud to be your Tallulah Belle Bruce Willis. #babybruce#TBBW."
Rumer shared an adorable throwback picture to her Instagram, captioning the post "Really missing my papa today."
Tallulah also shared some insight into her relationship with her father in a TV interview.

"I think on one hand, it's who we are as a family. But also, it's really important for us to spread awareness about FTD," she said on The Drew Barrymore Show.
"If we can take something that we're struggling with as a family and individually," she added, "to help other people, to turn it around, to make something beautiful about it, that's really special for us."

"He is the same, which I think in this regard I've learned is the best thing you can ask for," Tallulah told host Barrymore.
"I see love when I'm with him, and it's my dad, and he loves me, which is really special," she continued.
Willis is now married to Emma Heming Willis, the couple sharing two daughters – Evely, nine, and Mabel, 11.
Heming and Moore released a joint statement to The Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration revealing Willis' diagnosis in early 2022.
"As a family, we wanted to take this opportunity to thank you all for the outpouring of love and compassion for Bruce over the past ten months," it read.
"Your generosity of spirit has been overwhelming, and we are tremendously grateful for it. For your kindness, and because we know you love Bruce as much as we do, we wanted to give you an update."

The statements later continued, "Unfortunately, challenges with communication are just one symptom of the disease Bruce faces.
"While this is painful, it is a relief to finally have a clear diagnosis."
Heming has spoken openly about Willis' life with aphasia in the months since.
