David Schwimmer posts cheeky response to Jennifer Aniston's shower photo: 'Trying to steal my thunder?'

It seems the constant teasing between Ross and Rachel on Friends also occurs in real life, if David Schwimmer's witty response to Jennifer Aniston's latest Instagram post is anything to go by.

The Friends actress posted a sultry shower pic to her Instagram account, with the caption "Something's coming", to promote her haircare brand Lolavie.

Upon seeing this, her former TV love interest posted a similar photo in the shower with suds all over his face.

"@jenniferaniston - a towel I hope??" Schwimmer captioned his response.

Aniston responded by liking his post and commenting, "Schwim!? Trying to steal my thunder!?"

Dating rumours have been circulating around the pair after they both admitted they had feelings for each other while filming on the set of Friends.

After James Cordon asked a question about offscreen romances while hosting the Friends: The Reunion television special that aired last year, Schwimmer and Aniston, who played Ross and Rachel, exchanged meaningful glances before responding.

"Ah well, I mean. David..." Aniston began, before Schwimmer continued, admitting, "Yeah, in the first season we…I had a major crush on Jen."

After Aniston admitted it was reciprocated, Schwimmer commented, "I think we both, at some point, we both were crushing hard on each other.

"But it was like two ships passing, because one of us was always in a relationship and we never crossed that boundary. You know, we respected that."
