Foo Fighters lead singer Dave Grohl has seemingly taken a jab at Taylor Swift during a recent concert.

Performing at London Stadium the same night Swift's Eras Tour was taking place at Wembley Stadium, Grohl paused on stage to address the fact that the two concerts coincided.

"I tell you, man, you don't want to suffer the wrath of Taylor Swift," he said to fans in the audience.

"So we like to call our tour the Errors Tour. We've had more than a few eras, and more than a few fucking errors as well. Just a couple."

But it was what he said next that had fans up in arms.

"That's because we actually play live. What? Just saying," he said as the crowd cheered him on. "You guys like raw, live rock 'n' roll music, right? You came to the right fucking place."

While the singer seemed to be implying that Swift's band doesn't perform live during her Eras Tour shows, Swift set the record straight during her concert the following night.

After receiving a standing ovation for her song Champagne Problems, Swift said "Every one of my band members, every single one of our crew, my band who's gonna be playing live for you for 3.5 hours tonight, they deserve this so much.

"And so does every one of my fellow performers," she added. "And you just gave that to us so generously, we will never forget it."

Grohl has previously praised Swift, saying "I'm officially obsessed. She might want to get a restraining order because I'm all about Swift," at BBC Radio Big 1 Weekend in 2015.

But fans have speculated his view may have changed since his daughter was harassed by the fandom.

Earlier this year Violet Grohl took to Twitter to criticise Swift's use of a private jet and was quickly inundated with comments from Swifties.

She later doubled down on the statement before removing her account from the platform.
