Dakota Johnson closed her tooth gap and her fans are very upset

When Dakota Johnson elected to have a minor dental procedure recently, she couldn't have anticipated the backlash that would ensue.

The 29-year-old Fifty Shades of Grey actress stepped out at the premiere of The Peanut Butter Falcon, and fans couldn't see past the fact that the star no longer had her signature tooth gap.

Johnson previously joked about her tooth gap in a video feature that she did with Vanity Fair.

In the clip, the star reveals that "she's going to demonstrate how many things I can fit inside my gap tooth — cause that's my only skill."

She then attempts to slot credit cards, paper clips, and toothpicks into her gap while her dad, actor Don Johnson, watches on from behind the camera.

But now that Johnson has had the procedure, fans have some things to say — with a majority of them openly grieving the end of Johnson's signature smile.
