Christy Carlson Romano reveals she was shot in the eye: 'I saw my life flash before my eyes'
Christy Carlson Romano has shared a harrowing incident where she saw her "life flash" before her eyes.
In a video posted to her 735,000 Instagram followers, the Kim Possible star revealed she was shot in the eye while shooting clay pigeons for her husband Brendan Rooney's birthday.
Romano claimed "another party" who was with them had "unsafely fired in the wrong direction" and ended up shooting her in the face.

Showing her face on camera, the star revealed her noticeably bruised eye.
"I was hit in five places, one was less than an inch from hitting me directly in my right eye," she said, recalling her husband rushed her to the hospital after.
Romano said there was a fragment still lodged behind her eye that was "too risky" to currently get surgically removed.
In the video, she also pointed out a fragment that was lodged in her forehead.
The actress said she could still see "normally" and was being monitored by doctors.
"With everything that happened, all I can think about is how grateful I am to be alive."

The star admitted, "I saw my life flash before my eyes."
The post was flooded with concerned messages and well wishes from stars and fans, including Nickelodeon star Daniella Monet.
Hours after her post, Romano shared an update message to her Instagram Story thanking those for their support.

"This has been scary and your positivity is meaningful to my healing," she wrote.
Romano rose to fame in the noughties with roles in the Kim Possible animated series and the sitcom Even Stevens, which ran for three seasons co-starring Shia LaBeouf.
The actress also notably starred in The Cutting Edge instalments and Cadet Kelly.

Romano currently hosts the podcast, Vulnerable.
The Disney alum has been married to producer Brendan Rooney since 2013.
The couple share two children together.
