Chrissy Teigen and John Legend rent out struggling NYC restaurant for a date night

Chrissy Teigen and John Legend supported a New York City restaurant for the sweetest date night!

The Cravings author shared some photos of the couple at Panna II Garden, a Lower East Side business that's been impacted by COVID-19 restrictions.

Teigen captioned the image, "Before your panties explode thousands of dirty little wads, we rented out this restaurant and supported this lovely lower east side establishment!"

In true Teigen style, she wore a stylish and voluminous cream-coloured tule top with a pair of skinny jeans for the occasion.

"An honour to walk in the @versace show!!!!!!!! thank u for having me!!!!" Teigen captioned a separate Instagram video of her dancing. In the background, the restaurant was decked out with extravagant lights and decorations.

Teigen's celebrity friends were in full support of the beautiful gesture. Modern Family actress Sarah Hyland commented on the post, "I grew up around the corner from there!!!!"

Meanwhile, One Tree Hill star Sophia Bush simply wrote, "cuties."

Joe Jonas' wife Sophie Turner seemed to recognise the joint writing, "The BEST food."

Indoor dining in New York is currently only allowed to fill a business at 35 per cent capacity.

The last few months have been difficult for Teigen who recently suffered a pregnancy loss.

In November, she told followers she was in a "grief depression hole". She has opened up about seeking professional help as she copes with the experience.

"When I'm old and grey, I will look back on the last two months as being brutal, exhausting, sad, physically challenging, mentally painful b----es of a couple months," Teigen wrote after losing her son.
