Chrissy Teigen says her breast implant removal surgery was a success, shares daughter Luna's hilarious post-op card

Chrissy Teigen's surgery was a success!

On Thursday, the model underwent surgery to have her breast implants removed, sharing to Instagram that "Surgery went perfectly!"

"So so so so so sore but waking up to this made it go away for half a minute at least," she added to the caption of two photos of adorable — and hilarious — homemade cards her daughter Luna Simone, four, and son Miles Theodore, two, made for her.

One of the cards read, "Have fun pulling your boobies out," and was signed, "Love Luna." The second read, "Bye Boobies," with an added mermaid sticker.

The Cravings cookbook author announced she was having her implants removed back in May, 2020.

"I'm getting my boobs out!" she wrote on Instagram at the time. "They've been great to me for many years but I'm just over it. I'd like to be able to zip a dress in my size, lay on my belly with pure comfort! No biggie!

"So don't worry about me! All good. I'll still have boobs, they'll just be pure fat. Which is all a tit is in the first place. A dumb, miraculous bag of fat. ❤️"

Teigen first revealed she had breast implants in an interview with Glamour UK in March, opening up about how she underwent the plastic surgery when she was 20 years old.

"It was more for a swimsuit thing," the Sports Illustrated model told the outlet. "I thought if I'm going to be posing, laid on my back, I want them to be perky! But then you have babies and they fill up with milk and deflate and now I am screwed.

"I had a quarter 'teardrop' cup in the bottom and filled out the breast line. But I want them out now. If I could do one thing, it would be to have a lift."
