Chris Bath reminds Michael Buble of their near-nude first encounter: 'Did I hit on you?'

File this one under "too much information"…and too little clothing.

Chris Bath and Michael Buble shared a funny-awkward moment during their Sunday Night interview as the journalist reminded the singer what he was wearing the first time they met. Hint: It wasn't much.

"You were in your undies," Chris, 49, said as Michael, 41, cracked up laughing.

"Oh, really?" he said.

"You were at Channel 7 where I was working as a news reader," Chris continued. "And I had to come around the corner to my wardrobe to grab a jacket at the last minute, and this half-naked man was standing there.

"And I go, 'Hi!', and you said, 'Hi!'"

Michael, without missing a beat, deadpanned: "Did I hit on you or anything?"

Chris: "No." (sounding slightly disappointed...Hmm...)

Michael: "Oh, that would have been embarrassing for me."

Chris: "I would have been excited."

Oh, those cheeky kids.

The fun flirtfest continued throughout the interview, with the Canadian crooner joking "Your husband's going to leave you" and declaring at one point: "I just want to spin right now and dance with you in a field."

Oh, he happened to be singing a line from The Sound of Music right before he dropped that last one. How romantic, right?

Of course, the flirting was all in good fun. Chris has been married to 48-year-old sports journalist Jim Wilson since 2012.

Meanwhile, Mr Buble, who used to date British actress Emily Blunt, has been married to Argentine thespian Luisana Lopilato, 29, since 2011. The couple have two sons, Noah, three, and Elias, nine months.
