Cher, 71, rocks a sparkly two-piece in epic throwback Billboard Music Awards performance

Cher is still making us believe.

The 71-year-old pop superstar stole the show at the Billboard Music Awards when she  performed her '90s hit 'Believe' dressed in a sheer, diamante two-piece and matching nude bra.

Following her epic performance -- Cher, who has been performing for six decades -- was honoured with the coveted Icon Award.

In her acceptance speech she took the opportunity to remind the world that she is most definitely still killing it, both on and off the stage.

"I’m 71 yesterday and I can do a five-minute plank, OK. Just sayin," the legendary vocalist announced.

Previous winners of the award include Neil Diamond, Prince, Jennifer Lopez and Celine Dion -- who also appeared onstage at this year's show with a moving performance of her 1997 hit 'My Heart Will Go On.'

In a statement released by Cher days prior, the showbiz veteran said she was honoured to receive the award.

"Seeing so many powerful artists, especially female artists, emerge and take their place in history through the years has been incredible," Cher said.

After a short video commemorated Cher's legacy, the singer had a costume change and returned to the stage for another performance of her earlier hit, 'If I Could Turn Back Time'.

Dressed in the same iconic black leather leotard and curly black wig that she wore in the original music video, Cher transcended time as she belted out the 1989 mega hit.

The prolific outfit interestingly served as Rita Ora's outfit inspiration on the night.

While on the red carpet, the 26-year-old Brit singer revealed she decided to pair a very visible black g-string with her dress after seeing Cher perform in London the night before.  

Clearly, the Goddess of Pop's still got it.
