Charlie Sheen changes stance on daughter, 18, joining Only Fans days after expressing disapproval: 'I overlooked and dismissed'

Charlie Sheen has changed his stance about his teenage daughter joining Only Fans.

Just days after saying he "did not condone" his 18-year-old daughter, Sami, joining the risqué content-sharing platform, the actor is singing a different tune – and it seems his ex-wife, Sami's mother Denise Richards, has something to do with it.

"Denise has illuminated a variety of salient points, that in my haste, I overlooked and dismissed," the 56-year-old told Us Weekly in a statement via his publicist, Jeff Ballard. "Now more than ever, it's essential that Sami have a united parental front to rely upon, as she embarks on this new adventure. From this moment forward, she'll have it abundantly."

Sheen's new outlook is a far cry from his previous statement, in which he said Sami joining Only Fans would never have happened if she was still living under his roof.

The teenager had a reported falling out with Richards last year before moving in with her famous father, but Sami is once again living at her mother's house.

"This did not occur under my roof," the actor told Us Weekly on June 13.

"I do not condone this but since I'm unable to prevent it, I urged her to keep it classy, creative and not sacrifice her integrity."

Meanwhile, Richards, has always supported Sami, her eldest daughter with the Two and a Half Men star – the exes also share daughter Lola, 17.

"Sami is 18, and this decision wasn't based on whose house she lives in," the actress and former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star told Us Weekly in a separate statement last week. "All I can do as a parent is guide her and trust her judgment, but she makes her own choices."

"And I also can't be judgmental of her choices. I did Wild Things and Playboy, & quite frankly, her father shouldn't be either," Richards also wrote in a message shared on her Instagram account. 

"The judgment [is because] men and women of the adult film industry are on there. Well, I imagine they're on Instagram and Twitter too. Is there really a difference between posting a picture of ourselves in a bikini on IG?" she added.

"We've all done it. Because you get paid on OnlyFans? I'm pretty sure IG & Twitter & Facebook do quite well off all of us. Is it so bad to control it and monetize it too?"
