Catherine Zeta-Jones receives hilarious insight into college life while visiting son Dylan on campus
Catherine Zeta-Jones unearthed a few truths about college life when recently visiting her son, Dylan Douglas.
The 50-year-old actress made a pit stop at Brown University in Rhode Island on October 18 to drop in on her and Michael Douglas' son, who is in his second year at the Ivy League institution.
"On campus with my boy Dylan," she captioned a sweet snap with the 19-year-old.
In a separate image on Instagram Stories, Zeta-Jones gushed about the "beautiful fall day" on the grounds of the university. But she would soon discover it was anything but inside Dylan's dorm room.

The Welsh star was surprised to see her son living the regular college life — a far cry from the plush upbringing he had in New York.
"I think my son needs a new tube of toothpaste. College life," the actress wrote alongside an image of a toothpaste tube squeezed beyond recognition.

Just weeks ago, his actor dad gave an insight into Dylan's love for living on the edge.
"He does all kinds of things like this," 75-year-old Douglas revealed on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, after footage of the teen jumping off a cliff was shown to the audience. "He just did a skydiving thing... But I remember that age. It's a hormonal thing, I think, for boys, testing yourself.
"What I did not like is he was the first one to jump," Douglas added. "I said, 'Don't be the first one to jump! Let a couple other people go off first to test it… Don't be first!'"
