Catherine Zeta-Jones' heartfelt tribute on daughter's 18th birthday
Catherine Zeta-Jones has shared a heartfelt tribute to her daughter Carys Zeta Douglas in celebration of her 18th birthday.
The Oscar-winning actress posted a series of photos featuring her youngest child on Instagram, including an adorable throwback picture of the two of them and a present-day one of the teen.
"You are everything, and everything is you," the proud mum gushed. "Thank you for the joy you bring me. At 5am this morning, you texted me to thank me, for giving birth to you. That's the kind of woman you are. Kind."

Sharing a text exchange between the two where she said having Zeta Douglas made her 'prouder than winning an Oscar,' she praised her daughter for her "wisdom that outnumbers her years," listing her favourite things about her.

"[Your] beauty is deep and your heart is big enough to love and envelop the world, your sense of humor......very important.... is insurmountable. I could go on," the 51-year-old joked. "Your Japanese needs some work, but that's doable. I love you angel. Mama."
The feeling of love was mutual, with Zeta Douglas responding to the post saying: "I love you my mamma! Thank you for all that you do."

Dad Michael Douglas also wished his daughter a happy birthday, sharing a sweet snap of the two of them.
"Honey this is your Dad, wishing you the best 18th birthday any young lady could possibly have," he wrote. "You know how much I love you, how proud I am of you, and the joy I have watching you grow into the young lady you are turning out to be!"
"Thank you my dadda!! I love you and thank you for everything you do," Zeta Douglas replied. "You are my biggest inspiration!"
Zeta-Jones married Douglas, 76, in 2000. The couple also share a 20-year-old son, Dylan Michael Douglas.
