Brooklyn Beckham sparks marriage rumours after calling fiancée Nicola Peltz his 'wife' in Instagram post

Brooklyn Beckham has sent fans into a tizzy after referring to his fiancée Nicola Peltz as his "wife".

The eldest son of David and Victoria Beckham, 22, rang in the New Year with Peltz and posted a series of snaps onto Instagram with a very telling caption.

"Here we come 2022 x me and my wife are coming for you xx," Beckham wrote, posing alongside his fiancée.

The celebrity offspring's cryptic caption prompted fans to wonder if Beckham and Peltz had secretly tied the knot.

"Awe you got married?? Congrats!!! Such a beautiful couple," one wrote, whilst another commented: "Didn't know you got married congrats."

A third person wrote: "Married already? Congratulations!"

The Beckham family had previously sparked wedding rumours with an adorable Christmas portrait, with the men of the family wearing tuxedos and flowers on their lapels.

Harper, 10, also posed in the photo with a bouquet of flowers, prompting speculation she may have been a flower girl.

The groom-to-be also appeared to be sporting a wedding ring in a now-expired Instagram story posted by mum Victoria Beckham.

Beckham announced his engagement to American-born actress Peltz in July 2020 with a sweet post on social media.

"Two weeks ago I asked my soulmate to marry me and she said yes xx," he revealed alongside a stunning engagement portrait.

"I am the luckiest man in the world. I promise to be the best husband and the best daddy one day. I love you baby xx."

Beckham and Peltz began dating in October 2019 and made their relationship official on Instagram in January 2020.
