The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel actor Brian Tarantina dies aged 60

Actor Brian Tarantina who starred in The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel TV series has died. He as 60.

Brian had been ill lately," a rep for Tarantina told People. "He was recently in the hospital and was in the process of recuperating from what I believe to be a heart-related issue."

According to the magazine, at approximately 12:40am New York local time, the New York Police department received a call stating that a person was unconscious in a Manhattan apartment.

Upon arrival, Tarantina was pronounced dead by medical authorities.

TMZ who first reported Tarantina's death, alleged that his niece found him near some white powder which is believed to be narcotics. The New York City medical examiner's office is yet to determine a cause of death.

Most widely known for playing Jackie in the award-winning TV series The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Tarantina was also starred in Gilmore Girls, The Black Donnellys as well as in Heroses, Law & Order and The Good Wife.

In addition to the lucrative career in TV acting, Tarantina most recently featured alongside Melissa McCarthy and Tiffany Haddish in 2019 flick The Kitchen. Earlier in his career he also did a slew of films including Jacob's Ladder, Donnie Brasco, Uncle Buck and Summer of Sam.
