Breaking! Paula Patton officially files for divorce from Robin Thicke

Actress Paula Patton has officially filed for divorce from estranged husband Robin Thicke after seven months of separation.

The couple first announced their split in February this year, with 38-year-old Paula submitting documents in a Los Angeles court citing "irreconcilable differences" according to TMZ

In what's been described as a "harmonious" divorce, Paula's also seeking joint legal and physical custody of the power pair's four-year-old son Julian.

The duo first met 22 years ago at a teen nightclub, dating through high school and Paula's time at university.

Since then the pair's marriage has been plagued by cheating rumours, following Robin's controversial performance with Miley Cyrus at last year's VMAs.
