Billie Eilish shares Nike shoes optical illusion, sparks debate and sends fans into meltdown
Billie Eilish has sparked an optical illusion debate.
It's been five years since the internet was divided in what is known as one of the greatest fashion debates in history — and the singer has reminded us just how mind-boggling it can get.
The 'my future' singer was participating in an Instagram Q+A with followers on her Stories on October 17, when she was asked for her take on "the dress." She stressed that the dress was in fact blue and gold, not white and gold or blue and black like everyone thought.

She then shared her own fashion optical illusion moment, telling followers that years ago, her dad thought that a pair of her Nikes were pink and white instead of mint green and white.
But a lot of her followers agreed with Eilish's dad.
"Now you guys saying they're pink and white too," Billie captioned a Story.

Eilish continued to argue that the shoes are not pink, proving her case by showing fans images from online shops, photoshoots and even side by side shoes that were actually pink.
Twitter users were left scratching their heads, with many seeing both colours and not sure what to believe.
"Every time I look at Billie Eilish's story those shoes are a different colour," one user tweeted.
"Literally my eyes have been playing games with @billieeilish 's shoes on Insta," another user wrote. "I see pink and then I see mint. I don't understand how my eyes keep changing the colours of the shoes."
What do you think? Are the shoes pink and white, or mint and white?
