Bella Thorne and Tana Mongeau air dirty laundry on Twitter after split

It has gone from civil, to messy, to even messier in the breakup saga of Bella Thorne and Instagram influencer Tana Mongeau.

The pair initially broke up in February after a year of dating, with the split seeming amicable at first.

"I love her forever don't get that twisted," former Disney star Thorne wrote at the time in her breakup announcement on social media.

However, after Mongeau became engaged to YouTube star Jake Paul — the younger brother of Logan Paul — in things turned sour.

Thorne shared a tearful photo of herself after learning the news in June and captioned it, "When your ex gets engaged."

And on Wednesday, July 18, things escalated further when the 21-year old tweeted that she and Mongeau were no longer friendly — possibly because Mongeau was recently photographed with Thorne's ex-boyfriend, Mod Sun.

"Tana and I are no longer good," she wrote. She broke girl code. I'm over it."

"Imagine taking every time ur mad at me to Twitter but then telling ppl how much u care about me… wtf is this b :/," Mongeau tweeted in reply.

And it didn't end there, with Thorne going on to state that the aspiring reality television star only "started dating me for Twitter".

Paul and Mongeau are set to tie the knot in just a few weeks time in Las Vegas on July 28, with the ceremony due to be televised by MTV.
