Beau Ryan defends Erin Molan in Anthony Bell controversy: 'She's innocent'
Beau Ryan is standing by his co-star.
The Footy Show talent spoke out in defence of host Erin Molan's role in the Anthony Bell court case controversy during an appearance on Fitzy and Wippa on May 4.
"I've spoken to Erin every day," Beau, 31, told the radio hosts. "I fully support her as a colleague and more importantly, as a friend. It's all bulls---. I just, I hate to see…
"They'll all see the real Erin and the true story come out. You know, she's innocent. Nothing's happened. It's all huff and puff."
Erin's fiancé, homicide detective Sean Ogilivy, is expected to give evidence today about his friend Anthony.
AVO court proceedings are underway after Anthony's estranged wife Kelly Landry alleged he had been violent towards her. She also accused her husband of having an inappropriate relationship with Erin during a yacht race last year.
Kelly alleges 33-year-old Erin, who was working aboard Anthony's yacht at the time, was the subject of a text Kelly sent her accountant husband that read, "I know about Erin."
Erin has vehemently denied the claims, calling the suggestion "false, offensive, and defamatory". She described Anthony as a "friend, teammate, and accountant".
Beau also praised Erin's professionalism in the face of the criticism.
"Just, the main thing is that she's OK. She's a professional. She worked today," he told Fitzy and Wippa. "She hasn't done anything wrong, and I fully support her and always will.
