Matty J and Laura are taking another huge step in their relationship

The champagne just keeps flowing for Bachelor couple Matthew 'Matty J' Johnson and Laura Byrne.

Earlier this week, the couple raised a glass to their one-year anniversary of falling in love on the the dating show, then they also celebrated the Sydney opening of Laura's new jewellery store, ToniMay.

But now it seems they're going one better and moving in together at the end of next month, when the lease for Laura's Rushcutters Bay apartment in Sydney ends.

"She's moving into my house!" Bondi-based Matty, 30, revealed to the Daily Mail on Thursday at the ToniMay store opening in Paddington. "It's a nice little bit to look forward to, we were always 'umming' and 'ahhing' if I would move to Rushcutters Bay or she would move to Bondi and, the way it's worked out, we decided Bondi. I kind of got my way."

Not that Laura's complaining -- it's obvious she can't bear to be apart from her boyfriend.

"Absolutely everything is better with you," the jewellery designer, 31, gushed in a cosy Instagram photo of them taken at the event.

While the couple hasn't sorted out the logistics of the big move, they are really excited to start the next chapter in their lives.

"It's always tricky when you move in together and you've kind of got double the furniture," Matty explained. "We’re like, 'Will I lose my couch in favour of her couch?' That's what we haven't figured out yet."

But one thing they have sorted out is that Laura's three-legged pooch, Buster -- who became a breakout star on their series -- will be making the big move too, although the rescue dog might not be so keen living so close to the water.

"We've taken him to North Bondi a few times, he's afraid of the water and he's not a great swimmer with only having the three legs, but I will definitely bring him down to Ben Buckler [beach in North Bondi]," said Matty.
