'Bachelor in Paradise': Richie Strahan watches ex Alex Nation move on right in front of him

Here's a reunion we're all desperate to witness.

Exes Richie Strahan and Alex Nation are currently filming in Fiji for Bachelor in Paradise Australia, and according to these paparazzi pictures obtained by the Daily Mail, things are about as awkward as can be expected.

Photos from the set show 33-year-old Richie watching on as Alex, 27, spends time with another guy (who looks a lot like James Trethewie, who was on Sophie Monk's season of The Bachelorette in 2017).

The duo appear to be on a date, paddleboarding in the water and later emerging hand-in-hand while, nearby, Richie, works on his tan with some other male contestants.

Richie and Alex arrived in Fiji two weeks ago.

The former couple -- who briefly found love on Season 4 of The Bachelor Australia but split after just a few months -- were spotted and photographed at Nadi International Airport, along with other contestants from the franchise.

Single mum Alex was photographed arriving in Fiji on November 5, while Richie arrived three days later.

Bachelor in Paradise Australia gives rejected contestants from The Bachelor and The Bachelorette Australia the opportunity to find love again with others from the series.

But, apart from former flames Florence Moerenhout and Jake Ellis this year, the upcoming season will be the first time a pair of exes will be forced to confront each other on the show.

Other spotted contestants include Nick Cummins' rejected girlfriends, Cat Henesey-Smith, Alisha Aitken-Radburn, Vanessa Sunshine and Shannon Baff.

The only ~officially~ confirmed contestants so far are the second and third runners-up, Brooke Blurton and Cassandra Wood.
