'Bachelor in Paradise' 2019: Florence and Davey admit to struggling with intimacy

Their chemistry is electric in front of the cameras on Bachelor in Paradise Australia, but behind the scenes? Not so much.

While outspoken contestant Florence Moerenhout confirmed in last night's episode that she and love interest Davey Lloyd have been intimate, she said she was expecting more.

"He's always tired, it's terrible. It wasn't much, trust me. I hate to admit this on camera, but I have to tell you," Florence told her friend Steph Dixon, who dropped by the Fijian island for a visit.

But wait, it gets worse. Steph -- who was a an intruder on Richie Strahan's season of The Bachelor in 2016 -- then took this intel to ask Davey what was up with his performance between the sheets. Talk about awkward!

"I talked to Flo and she said you're -- how do I put this -- not affectionate in the bedroom," Steph confronted Davey. "So, I'm wondering, what's happening?"

The construction worker was taken aback, before explaining, "I haven't been sleeping very well, my mind races a thousand miles an hour and my sex drive is gone."

Add to that the cameras capturing your every move and there's no wonder Davey is getting, er, stage fright. But Steph wasn't buying into his excuses.

"Davey, stop overthinking and just f---ing do it!" she said.

It appears there may have been underlying issues getting in the way of Florence and Davey's intimacy, with Davey admitting he's holding back because it's only early days.

"It's only been such a short time," he told Steph. "We haven't been outside [of the island]. I do have a little bit [of reservations]. It's completely natural."
