Adele's surprise duet with autistic girl moves crowd to tears

Adele's songs are tearjerkers for sure, but it was an onstage guest that left her latest audience sobbing.

In a sea of screaming fans, the singer spotted one bright pink handwritten sign being held up by a nervous 12-year-old girl.

"It's my dream to sing with Adele," Emily Tammam had scribbled on the cardboard.

The Grammy-winning star decided to grant a wish to the girl at her Manchester performance on Tuesday night.

In a video shot by a fan, Emily, who is autistic and suffers from ADHD, stands nervously beside the 'Hello' singer as she's encouraged by her idol to sing her hit 'Someone Like You'.

Yep, it's impossible not to get teary watching it.

Emily's dad, Ray Tammam, told the Manchester Evening News that his daughter had "a constant struggle with social situations".

"But amazingly she manages to sing in public," he said. "She has a different persona when she is on stage.

"Emily said she wants to show people that have disabilities or mental issues they can still do mainstream things like singing, they should not be stopped from doing them."
