Aussie model Gabrielle Epstein hits back after Instagram removed nude photo for breaching 'sexual solicitation' guidelines

Aussie model Gabrielle Epstein has spoken out against Instagram after the social media site removed one of her posts for allegedly breaching community guidelines.

The 27-year-old had posted a naked photo of herself to Instagram Stories on Thursday, in which she was lying down on her stomach while reading a book.

Not long after, she was alerted by the social media giant that her post had been removed for a breach of "adult sexual solicitation" guidelines.

"We removed your post because it goes against our Community Guidelines on adult sexual solicitation. If you learn and follow our guidelines, you can prevent your account from being deleted," read the message.

Needless to say, Epstein was not impressed and hinted this may not have been the first time she was accused of breaching protocols.

"'@instagram here we go again," she wrote while sharing the screenshot of the alert with her 2.6 million followers. "You can't even see ANYTHING what is going on." 

The model, who is now based in LA, then shared the image again on both her Instagram grid and Stories.

"I mean you can see much more skin in a bikini photo lol," she said as she reposted the image. As of today, the image remains on Epstein's account and has yet to be deleted by Instagram.

According to the social media platform, posts depicting nudity fall against its community guidelines.

"We know that there are times when people might want to share nude images that are artistic or creative in nature, but for a variety of reasons, we don't allow nudity on Instagram," the Instagram website states. 

"This includes photos, videos, and some digitally-created content that show sexual intercourse, genitals, and close-ups of fully-nude buttocks. It also includes some photos of female nipples."
