ARIA Awards 2017: Song of the Year nominees include Sia, Jessica Mauboy, and Guy Sebastian

The 2017 ARIA Awards are just over a month away, and the nominees for the coveted Apple Music Song of the Year are finally out!

TODAY's Richard Wilkins exclusively revealed the contenders including some of Australia's biggest music stars, from Sia andJessica Mauboy, to Guy Sebastian and Pnau.

Sia, who scooped up the gong for Best Female Artist at last year's awards, has been nominated for her hit 'The Greatest' with Kendrick Lamar. While former Australian Idol alum Guy and Jess have been nominated for their songs, 'Set In Stone' and 'Fallin' respectively.

Veteran Australian rap group Bliss N Esso scored a nomination for their track 'Moments', and they were joined by fellow rapper Illy for his song 'Catch-22', which  followed his platinum hit 'Papercuts' that earnt him six ARIA nods last year.

Gold Coast singer Amy Shark -- who was discovered on triple j's Unearthed platform -- has also been nominated for her track 'Adore.' Her debut EP Night Thinker was an instant chart hit, and the newcomer has spent the best part of the year touring the country playing sold out shows.

As was the case last year, electronic pop continues to dominate the music landscape with Peking Duck, Dean Lewis, and Starley also scoring nominations.

Last year, Troye Sivan's track 'Youth' took home Song of the Year.

The full list of nominees will be announced later today.

The 2017 ARIA Awards will take place on November 29, tune in exclusively on Channel Nine.
