Animal rights activists crash Kim Kardashian's book signing chanting 'murderer'

Kim Kardashian was taken by surprise at her Selfish book signing in New York on Wednesday when animal rights activists crashed the event and took her to task for wearing fur.

The group of protesters confronted the star with posters of skinned animals, chanting "murderer" and one even calling her "the most disgusting human being on this planet".

She was stunned, to say the least – watch the footage from Animal New York's YouTube above.

The protesters had waited in line to meet Kim since 6am, joining hundreds of fans queueing to get their copies of Kim's 450-page coffee-table book of selfies signed, according to Business Insider.

They presented Kim with photoshopped posters of her wearing fur holding up a skinned rabbit.

Security and Barnes & Noble staff ushered the activists out of the store, but they kept up their protest outside for another hour.

The 34-year-old reality star made no comment, so it looks like she won't be getting rid of those furkinis anytime soon.

It's not the first time Kim's had a public run-in with animal rights activist. A rogue PETA activist flour-bombed her on the red carpet in 2012 – and she was absolutely livid.
