A report claims Angelina Jolie is getting papped with her kids to look favourable amid divorce battle

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's custody battle for their six children recently made headlines again after months of civil (and mostly private) proceedings.

Despite separating in November 2016, the two stars still haven't settled on a custody agreement regarding Maddox, 17, Pax, 14, Zahara, 13, Shiloh, 12, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 10, and in recent months tension has seemingly escalated, with the battle for their children playing out in the media.

It was reported three months ago that Jolie, 43, was at risk of losing primary custody of the children to Pitt, 54.

Jolie's camp was allegedly furious that details of their custody arrangement had been leaked because it was unfair for the kids.

"This misleading leak is not in the best interests of the children," a spokesperson for the actress said in a statement. "From the start, Angelina has been focused only on their health and needs, which is why it was so important that this last court hearing be conducted privately."

Then the actress accused her former partner of 11 years of not paying "meaningful child support," a claim that was denied by Pitt's camp -- his legal team called Jolie's request for more child support "unnecessary" and "a thinly-veiled effort to manipulate media coverage," according to People.

Now comes a highly speculative development in the way Jolie is conducting herself as the ex-couple's discussions continue.

A Page Six report believes that Jolie's recent family outings with her and Pitt's children have been orchestrated because she "is keen for us to see her with her kids as her divorce plays out in the press."

"Jolie dropped by Fred Segal -- once considered the place for aspiring celebs to get 'unexpectedly' snapped -- on Sunday with teens Maddox and Zahara to peruse their goods," Page Six reported, adding that the family again returned on Monday to buy more items.

Jolie, of course, has been snapped out and about with her children before so it's not like this is a super-rare occurrence.

And it seems Jolie and Pitt are playing nice for the moment.

In August, Entertainment Tonight reported they had reached an interim custody agreement for the next month while an evaluator gathers all the required information to properly assess their custody case.

A source said Jolie and Pitt are trying to be "amicable for the children."
