Has fame gone to Amy Schumer's head? Star 'stormed out' of gym when asked for proof of membership

Of all the celebrity diva stories, this one is up there with the most avoidable.

According to Page Six, the seemingly down-to-earth shock comedian Amy Schumer threw a tanty over something as simple as showing proof of her gym membership. Really, Amy?

"She felt entitled to just walk in," a source told the publication. "She didn't want to show her key fob and wanted to be able to go in and not be questioned.

"It was clear that Amy wanted to go in under the radar and not even stop to have the desk clerk look up her account on a computer."

But it gets worse. Apparently the star declared "I'm famous" when the Equinox club employees insisted the Trainwreck star follow the typical check-in procedure.

A spokesperson for the New York gym denied that the actress had a meltdown, insisting that it was "simply a back-and-forth with staffers who didn't immediately know who she was."

But their side of the story totally conflicts with Page Six's source who said that Amy, 34, was "so unhappy" that she "stormed off".
