Ali Oetjen in recovery after undergoing breast reduction surgery

The Bachelorette Australia star Ali Oetjen says getting a breast reduction was the "best decision."

The 32-year-old revealed earlier in the week that she was having the procedure and proceeded to give candid video updates from inside the surgery room.

Now that Oetjen's surgery is officially complete, she appears to be pleased with the outcome.

"Oh where did u have it done Ali? They do good job? How much? That's what I want. Why did u do that? I thought you had implants," one user commented on a recent Instagram post.

"@horizonplasticsurgery Best decision!!" Oetjen replied.

The reality TV star received a lot of support and well wishes.

Comedian Julia Morris commented, "Sending loads of love for a speedy recovery."

Horizon Plastic Surgery in Melbourne expressed gratitude that Oetjen selected them to conduct the procedure.

"We are so proud of our beautiful patient, former bachelorette, Ali Oetjen for her decision to have a breast reduction to satisfy her own needs and happiness" the surgery wrote to their Instagram account.

Earlier this year, Oetjen told her fans that she was seeking recommendations for plastic surgeons to remove her implants.

Last November, Oetjen told The Daily Telegraph, that she wasn't feeling comfortable with them anymore. "As soon as I can get a good length of time that I can take it off, because it will take some time with down time, I will," she told the newspaper.

"It is a personal thing but knowing I got them for the wrong reasons, I don't want any girl to go through that same thing so that is why I wanted to share [my experience] to make sure other girls don't make that mistake."

Oetjen previously admitted to getting breast implants in her 20s to get the attention of an old boyfriend. She now says she'll never again let anyone influence the decisions she makes about her physical appearance.
