Ali Oetjen shares video as she prepares to undergo breast reduction surgery

After previously expressing that she was unhappy with breast implants, Bachelorette Australia star Ali Oetjen has undergone breast reduction surgery.

Announcing earlier this week that she would be having the procedure, the 32-year-old reality star shared a video from the surgery room before she went under the knife.

Previously admitting that she got implants in her early 20s to impress an old flame, Oetjen said this week that she would never let another person influence how her body should look.

"To everyone that said they're too big, you hurt my feelings," she said.

"To myself, I will never change my body for someone else. The lesson learnt when I was strongest. I don't want to have huge boobs!"

As the fitness model geared up to have her implants removed, she shared a snap from the gym with her boyfriend Taite Ridley announcing that it would be the last time that they would work out together for six weeks.

"Last sweaty workout together for 6 weeks," she wrote. "Will be sharing my post op workouts that will whip me back into shape, strong and fit again."

In May, Oetjen posted that she was unhappy with her implants and asked fans for recommendations for Melbourne-based plastic surgeons.

Last November, she told The Daily Telegraph, that she didn't "feel comfortable with them."

"As soon as I can get a good length of time that I can take it off, because it will take some time with down time, I will," she told the newspaper. "It is a personal thing but knowing I got them for the wrong reasons, I don't want any girl to go through that same thing so that is why I wanted to share [my experience] to make sure other girls don't make that mistake."

Since appearing on The Bachelorette Australia, Oetjen has also been bullied by online trolls.

In February, the fitness model was left in tears after trolls mocked her for posting an overly photoshopped selfie.

"I started my workout at 5am this morning, earlier than usual because I couldn't sleep. I couldn't sleep because online bullies comments hurt AND I disliked how so many comments on my recent post were right," she wrote.

"I asked myself, why wasn't my original photo good enough to share with the world?! At the time I thought, this photo of my face is not 'pretty enough' I have an image to uphold and must make it look flawless! Crap! It made me feel s---!! I don't want to conform, I want to continue to inspire real women to love themselves for the bloody breathtaking beings that we are."
