Alex Rodriguez flies to see Jennifer Lopez in the Dominican Republic amid split rumours
Alex Rodriguez has flown to the Dominican Republic to visit his fiancée Jennifer Lopez after rumours they had split surfaced last week.
"Happy Monday," the 45-year-old wrote in his Instagram Story on Monday, March 15, alongside a photo of the beach view from his accommodation. "New week. New day. Onward. Upward."

Rodriguez also subtly tagged Lopez, 51, who has been in the Caribbean country filming her upcoming rom-com Shotgun Wedding.
The couple's reunion comes days after TMZ, the New York Post's Page Six and multiple entertainment sites cited unidentified sources close to the pair saying they had called off their engagement.
The 'Jenny from the Block' singer and former MLB star revealed on Saturday that they were "working through some things" and that reports of them splitting up after almost four years together were inaccurate.
Lopez and Rodriguez, known as A-Rod, began dating in early 2017 and announced their engagement in March 2019. They have postponed their wedding twice due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
"It was a big deal," she said in an interview with Allure. "We had been planning for months and months and months, and it was overseas… Maybe that wasn't the right time."
According to People, the pair never officially broke up but had talked about it in the past.

"They hit a rough patch," a source told the outlet, adding that rumours linking A-Rod with a TV reality show star "had no bearing on the rough patch at all."
