Alex Nation has 'found love in the arms of a woman' after Richie Strahan split

A new report claims former Bachelor winner Alex Nation has well and truly moved on from her television suitor, Richie Strahan.

"Alex has found love in the arms of a woman," a source claiming to be one of Alex's best friends told New Idea magazine. "It started a month ago with Maegan."

Alex reportedly met 31-year-old Maegan, a chef based in Melbourne, playing for their local Aussie Rules women's team, the Frankston Bombers. 

"Alex started to have feelings," the friend told the publication. "As it turned out, those feelings were mutual."

Alongside the article, the tabloid published images of the 25-year-old single mum and Maegan hanging out on multiple occasions looking completely smitten, holding hands, and seemingly about to lock lips.

"They are now inseparable, spending very few nights apart, but it was all a bit of a shock," the friend continued. "Up until this point Alex had only ever had relationships with men.

"Right now she is not giving this or herself any sort of label such as being gay or bisexual," the pal continued. She does not see the need to categorise it that way."

Last week, Woman's Day reported that Alex, who won Richie's heart in the 2016 season of The Bachelor, split from the WA-based ropes technician six months ago.

However, the pair decided not to announce it so that their public image would remain intact. Neither Alex or Richie have responded to the allegations.

And now, Alex’s friend is claiming Richie is yet to learn of the new relationship.

"Richie knows nothing at all about this," Alex’s friend admits. "Right now, confronting him with this news seems way too difficult and the last thing she wants to do is hurt Richie. She still treasures the time they spent together."
